BSB on MPEG2 only?

Last night, I turned on my HR20 (from standby). Sure enough, black screen again. I followed someone's suggestion and checked signal strength, etc. to see if it would bring back the picture - nope. Finally, I tuned into my MPEG4 locals. Those WORKED!!!! I then switched back to the MPEG2 channels (both HD and SD) and all were still black. Even my MPEG2 recordings were black when I tried to replay them. I'm going to record something off my MPEG4 locals and try that the next time the BSB appears. I soft booted and all stations came back.

Is this consistent with what others are seeing with this annoying bug? Could this be a MPEG2 decoding bug?

There have been folks that have reported getting this problem while tuned to an HD MPEG4 channel. However, there seems to be more problems when tuned to MPEG-2 channels. There seems to be even more problems when tuned to an HD MPEG-2 channel. It's not clear what is causing the problem, but it looks as if the decoding algorithms stop working properly for some reason. The only thing you can do is minimize the effects, but I don't think that there is any way to completely get away from the problem.
