I have a HR21-100 receiver. The buttons on the front panel won't work. I have unplugged the receiver (hard reset) and it works fine for a few days then the buttons stop working again. The receiver works fine with the remote control, but the buttons on the front panel will not work unless I unplug the receiver and then plug it back in. Any suggestions on what to do?

When you push a button on the front panel, do the lights flicker at all?

Sounds like you need a new IRD if resetting doesn't really fix the problem.

The light does not respond at all when I push the buttions. When I unplug the receiver and then plug it back in, it works fine for a day or two then the buttons stop working again. Might have to give DIRECTV a call. Thanks for the help!
