Former 15+ year directv sat customer. Interesting debate on this thread. Kinda reminds me of the ’less filling’ vs ‘taste great’ ad. It’s all about individual value recognition. For me, I ditched a $250 a month satellite bill with wonky equipment for their streaming product, saving $100 a month and love it. A few less channels that are practically meaningless to me and I spend a half the savings on all the streaming services. I have better PQ and all the content I want. I can watch everything anywhere on any device. i only wish it happened earlier. Oh, and I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off for not calling and threatening to drop them every 6 months. And it doesn’t have 73 different fees tacked on. They even dropped the unlimited DVR fee.
