Can a DP21 and a DP Plus Twin combine to get 4 satellites?

Guys (and gals),

I haven't tried this before but is it possible to add a wing dish to a Dish 1000 by using a DP21 switch with the DP Plus Twin LNBF to get the following 4 satellites? Namely, the 110, 119 and 129 from the Dish1000 and 61.5 from a wing dish. Thanks a bunch!

One tuner per DP21 ... two tuners max with that setup, but yes - a DP21 can combine the output of a DPPTwin and a wing dish to serve a single tuner.

If you are serving a 622 you'll need to run two feeds and get two DP21s.

It might be cheaper to use a DP44 and replace the DPPTwin with a regular twin or singles/duals.
Does that work? From http://www.dishretailer.com/dpp/dpptwin.pdf
The DP Plus Twin may be connected to a DP Plus 44 switch, but not to DP21 switches or DP34 switches.
Yes the DPP44 may be overkill for many installations. Another way is to get a DP34 and cascade through a DP21 for each tuner.
I sit corrected --- and find it odd that a DP21 works with a DPP44 output (to add a fifth satellite to one tuner) but not a DPPTwin.

So it is possible to have 5 sats set up on the 622? I have read on other threads that only 4 are possible.
Yes, it is possible. One cable from each DP21 to each tuner (two cables from the switches to tuner).

So it is possible to get all 5 of the sats. I thought when I was doing a switch test that since there are 5 places listed it would be possible ( D1000 & 2 wings).
If I use a DP21 and Dish Pro LNB I can add a 5th sat to a DPP44 that has 61.5, 110,119,&148. I want to add 129 for the stations I will be getting when I move in a couple of weeks,

That's because the DPPTwin is basically a DPTwin and a DPDual/DP21 built-in. It's part of the signalling scheme. From what I remember, if you run the output from a DPPTwin into a DP21, it deactivated the input on the DPPTwin. Also, remember that the DPPTwin supports the DPP stuff, so running it into a DP21 would also have to kill the plus side of it just like on the DPP44.
