Can I cancel Sunday Ticket now and get a refund? Just not that interested in it anymore. Can't stand sitting inside and watching thugs get paid millions when we have beautiful fall weather. It's a horrible feeling thinking you should be outside doing something constructive rather than sitting watching football all day long.

Thanks!

Get a DVR and then record the games you want. Then you can go outside and watch the games later that evening.

As per D* Sports Sub Guidelines they auto renew each year unless canceled before the season starts. Once a season has started they cannot be canceled, transfered, or credited.

Are you OK? I think that your signifcant other laced your drink with some drug that is making you talk this craziness. I would check your credit cards to see if she ordered anything from Dr. Phil or Oprah.

My guess is his team is out of contention this year and decided that the season is over so why pay for something you're not going to watch.

If I were a Lions, Raiders, Rams fan I wouldn't watch the rest of the season either.

Oh well, can't wait to get out of this contract. Charter has everything I need now. DTV just not for me.
Sounds like you really like your employer.

Charter must be better in WI.. We have a whopping 17 glorious channels in HD and SD looks like crap.. and the DVR is terrible.. so is the customer support (or lack there of)

Of course. you're rather be outside since the Packers got rid of Favre and he's playing very well out east now :)

But, I know people that just want the basics and then it'll work for them.. good luck in whatever option you pick...

That's part of it! Not as bad as the teams you mentioned...Packers...ughh!

When you have a team in the NFC Championship, you would expect the GM to go "All-in", like Melvin did for the Brewers by getting Sabathia. Instead, the Cheapskate GM in GB decides to jettison two of his best players at their positions...Corey Williams and Brett Favre. He won't be a GM for long, that is for certain.

Anyway, this DTV has gotten too expensive. The only reason I bought it last year was for the NFL network and the Big Ten channel. I rarley watch any other HD programming, and to tell you the truth, without local Channels in HD on the dish, they lose in my book when compared to cable. They are even on the movie channels HD, DTV loses on locals HD, and I could care less that the cartoon network(and other garbage channels) is in HD on DTV.

It is what it is. For less hassle, and less cost, I'll take the fewer HD channels.

IMO for most people getting locals in HD is the most important criteria for selecting a provider. If you can get those from dish network I recommend you consider their all HD package. It is probably slightly more expensive than cable, but has more channels. It doesn't have the nfl but has some big ten network. The hot deal around here is verizon fiber optic but I doubt that you have that available. If your cable system carries big ten well thats better than nothing. Barely. I'm into football in hd and lots of hd-dvrs so directv for life.;)

HD was not really a factor for me. I wanted locals but in my case I was screwed either way. If I would of chose E* then I would have locals but I would also be confined to watching Chiefs and Rams games all year. Who wants that? So I chose D* and go the NFL Sunday Ticket. I have one waiver approved so far for NBC and if the others dont work out then I will just get an antenna and get locals in HD for free.
