Or maybe I should ask: Are HD locals included with SD locals?
I'm buying a 211 outright (no *&$# lease fee for me!), and I can easily move my 148 dish to 129 to get the Denver locals. I already have AT180 plus my SD Denver locals. Can I just point at 129 to get my HD locals without subscribing to any of those HD metal packs? Will Dish even activate a 211 without a metal pack?
And before you suggest that I just put up a good OTA antenna, I already did. Denver broadcasters are wrestling with a small group of neighbors of the big broadcast antennae, so for now, I can hardly get anything OTA. I often wonder if Comcast is lending any support to that anti-OTA HD group.
