Hello.I recently got directv.And got 3 boxes.2 in the living room and one in my bedroom.I believe they used my old cable from the cable company.Anyways,I was wondering if I could split the cable from my bedroom reciever and run it with the rest of the boxes in the living room?I want to set up 3 tv's for football.
can I split the cable?

Without a SWM system, NO, all cables need to be "home runs" from either the dish or a multi-switch.
SWM [Single Wire Multi-switch] will let you split cables to feed receivers like cable works.
