Can I stop a 622 from phoning home?

I live in Florida but just bought a cottage in the Muskoka area in Ontario. I would like to take a 622 up there for the summer and take advantage of the call display which I really like. Is there any way to prevent the unit from calling home and what number does it call?

Satellite Tv is provided by Bell TV in Canada and I've heard they are very strict with their regulations about satellite service. You, legally, won't be able to take your Dish 622 receiver and use it in Canada for 3 - 4 months. In answer to your question, you the only way to keep it from calling out is by unplugging the phone line to the receiver, which will disable the Caller ID feature. Thanks.
Try to mislead the caller - say, you're using rotary phone not tone, add wrong prefix like 9 ...
Since this thread seems to be talking about violating not just Dish terms of service but probably some Canadian laws as well, I see no choice but to close the thread and ask that the topic please not be started again.
