Can I activate the intellian-i-series h24-100 receiver with directv onto my directv resident account? Or will this receiver work different than the regular h24-100 directv offers?? I never heard of "intellian"

I have not heard of that name. I did find those on Ebay. They are priced 50% higher than an H24 from an authorized DirecTV dealer. It appears to be the same receiver.

Yeah! The "Intellian I-Series" brand has been sold at boating accessory dealers while doing research on google... Plus you can't find info if the intellian I-Series hd receiver h24-100 works on none SWM technology...

Usually if there's a difference in the receiver, the model will be different, like between the HR20-100 and HR20i-100.

If it is a stock H24, it would work without SWM but it would need BBCs. But personally I'd go with a known authorized retailer.
