Is there any way to run two receivers from one line. It is OK if the signal to the two TVs is the same. I realize you can't operate two receivers from one line but can you output the signal from one receiver to two TVs. I currently have two receivers HR22 with a DECA setup and can't add a 3rd line.

So I am trying to figure out to to run a 3rd TV from using either two or three receivers using only one line. It is easy with cable TV as you just split the cable.

You're asking two different questions.

To connect more receivers you'll need a SWM setup.

To feed several TVs from one receiver use the various outputs from that receiver.
They are all active.

If you currently have DECA/Whole home DVR, you are already setup for SWM. You could take the input coax cable of one of the HR22's, feed it to a 2-way green label splitter (like this), then you have an extra coax line for a 3rd HD receiver or HD-DVR.

First, check the existing splitter which feeds the receivers. Possibly it has an unused (terminated) output, which you could use the feed the new receiver.

Yes, this is what I have. Using the above splitter then I would have independent control of both receivers, correct?

You mean the two receivers to be placed on the line you are splitting, one of the HR22s and a new one? Yes.

Giving your system now three independent receivers total. Two HR22s and a third new one you're going to add.

That's it. Thanks very much for your help.
