I only count 120 .So what does DirecTv count as HD.I did not count the out of market networks in the 300's because not everyone get's them.I did not count my locals because not everyone get's the same amount of locals.So where are the other 10.
It would help to know what you've already taken into account as the 120.pfueri said:I only count 120 .So what does DirecTv count as HD.I did not count the out of market networks in the 300's because not everyone get's them.I did not count my locals because not everyone get's the same amount of locals.So where are the other 10.

I did a recount and have 119 not 120.If I list all channels on here it would take up alot of space with 119 channels to listCarl Spock said:The 101 would add one more to your count, but again, a list of your 120 would be helpful, pfueri.
Here is every channel that makes up the 130 (127) list.pfueri said:I did a recount and have 119 not 120.If I list all channels on here it would take up alot of space with 119 channels to list

Yeah, but DirecTV does count them. They count the 8 national feeds - ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox - both east and west coast versions. To the OP if you want to see what they count, go to their website, under the HD section - that's where I found the list. From what I see, they count:mmab63 said:I don't count ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX/CW locals because not everyone get those thru Directv yet.
Checked the website and they do count the (they shouldn't) DNS feeds.jpl said:Yeah, but DirecTV does count them. Now, whether that adds up to 130 or not is a different story.
623 & 628 are the same channel - NESN (New England Sports Network).pfueri said:This is a list of all the hd channels I get.I have the Premier with locals HD access HD extra Pack. That should cover about everything.

Thanks for the reply . I don't see where I counted 101 twice. So the count is 118 since I counted 623 and 628 Thats still not 130mmab63 said:623 & 628 are the same channel - NESN (New England Sports Network).
And you counted the 101 Channel (T101) twice.
There should be 20 full-time RSNs.
The 8 HD DNS Locals should not count very few get these channels. If count these then you should count every local market's HD channels.So the real count is 118dcowboy7 said:from sixtos link:
65 HD Networks - includes 1 shared (Versus/Golf)
20 Full-time Regional Sport Networks (RSN's)
8 HD DNS Locals: CBS/NBC/ABC/FOX East&West
33 HD PPV
TOTAL = 126
i think sixto mentioned his counts totals go by the directv press releases and what they count....so guess u have to take the count #'s up with directv.pfueri said:The 8 HD DNS Locals should not count very few get these channels.
