CBC kicks off

The Canadian Football League has sold its CBC game telecasts to America One Television Network in the United States. The CFL will be seen on America One, Fox Sports World, Sunshine and Yes Networks.

The CBC's football season will start on Labour Day with the traditional doubleheader, Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats at 1 p.m. EDT followed by the Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders at 4 p.m. The CBC will carry 13 regular-season games, as well as the playoffs and Grey Cup.
