Moving to an exotic location? Basically what you need to make sure they get is the receiver and access card. They also ask for the DirecTV remote minus batteries, any DECAs, BBCs etc. They do not want anything off the dish. The DECA etc isn't required, but you might as well give it to then, better than going to a landfill or something.
I wish I was moving somewhere exotic ;), thanks for your quick response. I wasn't sure about those bbcs. No cables go back? Receiver/bbcs and remote.

Thanks
Certainly not required. Don't forget the power cord, I've almost forgotten to include it in the box.
Receiver, power cord and remote without batteries. They should send you a prepaid shipping box. Take that box to the post ofice and have them scan it into their system and give you a receipt. We have two post offices near us, one will scan and give a receipt and the other won't. I just went through the process today.
It can also be taken directly to Fedex, either one will take it.
