If I tune to the channel it gives me the option for "Record", "Showings" and "Done."

The description:

College Football: Florida Atlantic at Texas. DIRECTV residential customers can only view this game by purchasing on a pay per view basis for $29.95. ESPN GamePlan subscribers must purchase the game in this manner.

The Game is at 6pm. The PPV runs 4pm-10pm.

I checked in the online TV Listings as well. Still no option to buy.

Should I call? Or wait for 4pm to see if the option appears?

I just tried to go online and get the Nebraska vs. Kansas game on channel 785 and had the same problem. I could program my DVRs to record it but no option to buy it.

I called and told the CSR that their web site wasn't working and she ordered it for me and waved the $10 phone order fee. She first said it would be $10 or she could transfer me to the phone ordering system which would be $1.50. I then proceeded to ask why I couldn't do this myself online and, my guess is, seeing that I was chewing up phone time she punted and said she would do it for free.

Can anyone say why this doesn't work sometimes? There was no "order now link text" in the description after the title of the game which I could see on other channels around 785.

I ordered the Husker's first game of the season on PPV and there was no link the morning of the game. I called the CSR and was told there would be a phone order charge but the link might come up closer to kickoff time. About 1 hour before kickoff, I was able to order the game, either online or by remote. For some reason the online link and the remote control order didn't appear until closer to kickoff.

I plan to listen to the game via online radio today. Go Big Red.
