Can't get HR20 to show menu choice for networking

I've been able to get my network up and running, with my Xbox 360 visible to both computers, no problem. The HR20 shows that I am successfully reaching both the network and the internet, but the menu option of "pics and video(?)" will not show on the screen. I have tried to setup Twonky (can't seem to get trial registered) and reinstalled WMP11; still no joy on the HR20.
WMP11 shows the xbox 360, and allows sharing, but does not find the HR, not even as an unkown device. The router software (Dlink DI-604) shows the HR and the Xbox connected, so I know the network is *there*......
What do I need to do the get the HR to display the menu option? What do I need to do to get the HR seen by my computers? BTW, I'm running WinXP SP2 on both computers that will serve as storage devices. All folders for music, video and documents are shared on both comps. What to do? What am I missing?
Thanks for any help you all may offer!

Is your HR20 directly connected to the router or is bridged? If bridged, some people have success hardwiring the unit for initialization. Did you run Network Setup on the HR20? Did you connect to the internet? Did you reboot your pc and/or the HR20?
Thanks for the reply. It is bridged, sharing a Buffalo wireless AirStation Ethernet Converter (which *was* hardwired for setup), with my Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player. Both are seen by the access point and the router, and both report being able to access the network and the internet by their internal menus. I am trying a restart from the menu as we speak on the HR20, and I'll see if that awakens the menu option.......97%.....99%.....and...........Nope! Help & settings/My Playlist/Audio Options/favorites/Search. etc. No menu for the network, though it still shows being connected to the network and the internet on the test/info page. Next?
I have not been able to get WMP11 to work consistantly at all. I use twonky and it works very well for me. Some use tversity with very good luck.

Look at the info thread located here...

Lots of thread and help in the above link.
Ok, let me try to be clearer about my problem: Both Twonky and WMP11 work fine with my Xbox 360. My HR20, however, does not want to turn on the "music and pictures" menu option; nor does it show up in either media server, even as "unidentified media device" to be shared to.
So the main question, I suppose, is "Why can't I get the HR20 to give me the M&P menu option?
I had the same issues with the Buffalo converter. I got the network connection but it wouldn't "open itself" as a client and look at the server(s). I abandoned it, returned it and hard wired permanently to the router. I understand your xbox 360works well with this bridge. That's interesting. You would expect similar results from the HR20 clients I think there have been more reports of success with the Linkysys and D-link bridges.

Good luck working it out.
