CAN'T Watch one channel and Record on another Channel

New HR21 with new HD service since 9/6/08

Can't schedule a recording and watch another channel. Have 2 BBCs attached to the back of the receiver.

Troubleshooting: switched BBCs between ports. Both tuners at 95%.

Is there something else I have to do to enable one tune to record while watching another channel?

No problem recording and watching the same channel.

Press and hold the info button for 3 seconds. The info screen will pop up then scroll down to see if it says record beside both tuners?

Do a menu restart and that should fix it. Let me know if it does not.

Press Menu-->Parental, Fav's & Setup-->System Setup-->Reset-->Restart Receiver

I've got the same issue going on and the Restart did not solve it.

I'm running an HR20-100 with tonight's CE. I have two RB-6's running into the unit, and the reception % are 95/100. The unit used to let me record and watch separately but sometime over the past few months the behavior changed and I no longer can do it. I've had the unit less than a year, and the only "trouble" I've had with it is one of the CE's about 4 months back didn't load correctly so I had to move the BBC's on the back of the unit (as instructed by members of the CE chat) to get it back on its feet. Runs/operates fine otherwise.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do a menu restart and that should fix it. Let me know if it does not.

The problem is that the program currently being recorded will stop being recorded, if you reset the IRD.
