Recording Swamp People RIGHT now and if i go to any other channel in the range (in the title) they're black with no video or audio at all. I can only watch Swamp People and nothing else unless i stop the recording.

No, I am not recording two channels at once. Just recording one thing.
(I made this thread so I don't spam up the software thread)

Did the reset twice/nvram spiel and I don't want another remote to "solve" my problem. This problem doesn't happen when the tech is here and they make me look like i'm effing nuts..

Makes me want to drop DirecTV... ungh

What dish/LNB is being used?

Also, go to the test channels in the 9000 range and see what each of those reports. Post that along with what jdspencer suggested.
