A few days ago I noticed a new 349 OFFER channel had appeared. The message is to call DISH for an exclusive offer, similar to the one before.

Does anyone know what this is about? I see other thread that have similar discussion, but not about 349:

It isn't a 30th Anniversary deal (that was last year) but it is a promotional channel for Starz.

It has been available since February 1st.

It recently changed from 30th Anniversary Offer to Starz on Dish, at least for me.

So what are they offering? Has anyone called? This seems unusual. HBO, etc. don't do this.

They offered me Starz for $13. Yes, an OFFER for $13? That is REGULAR price.

Acouple of weeks ago I got 6 months of Stars for $6.50/month.

Maybe it's time for CSR roulette, if you 're interested in the offer.

Maybe it expired 2/29 and they have not taken the channel down - sounds like a Dish snafu.

No. I asked what the offer was on that channel a few weeks ago and they said "You can get Starz for $13". So I don't know why they wouldn't give me the 1/2 price offer. Checked again today and that's the same comment they told me.
