Channel 386 ABC EAST Is On
Channel 386 which is ABC East is on for me right now at 4:53 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. They've got horse racing on.

It just went off at 5 p.m. Central Time. Just as the local New York ABC 7 News was coming on. Darn.
I've been getting 386 for years. But, then it's DNS for me. 
It's back on for prime time programming. I expect it to cut out at 11pm. I've noticed these channels have been getting turned on a lot recently.
I suspect that DirecTV is messing around with channel assignments as they get near the D11 turn on.
I am getting 86, but, 386 says cnannel not purchased!
386 got turned off at 10pm Eastern. I only have SD so I have no idea when the HD channels get turned on. As of late, it only seems that East coast channels are being turned on and being turned off before local programming starts.jeffwltrs said:I am getting 86, but, 386 says cnannel not purchased!

386 is still the SD version of 86.
Yeah, ABC, Fox, and CBS were on last Sunday during prime time (East Coast) hours.
All 4 major networks have their SD east coast feeds in the 380's turned on tonight. Again I have no idea if the HD channels are coming in also.
This is very strange. I wonder why these channels are on?
386 on 86=not purchased. Oh well. If it's not an HD channel I don't already get, I don't care.
Im getting 721s here on the East coast SD feeds, the only one coming in for me is 388 which is the Fox HD feed that I have had for awhile now.
I'm now only getting channel 388 here. These stations are pretty unpredictable as to when they get shut off. Although, as of late, they only seem to be getting turned on during national programming and are generally shut off before local programming resumes. Thanks .. Catching a show right now that I would normally watch later in the evening .. Fortunately it's a reality show and It's not so bad without HD .. although I will be watching the dance tonight again (in HD)

That's weird. Like I said the only SD channel I'm still getting is channel 388. (Although it will probably cut out very shortly at 10pm Eastern.) Can you double check to see you aren't getting 388?
