Not all of us get locals much less any that are HD.

Why does D* always leave these special events such a mystery and never announce them? I don't care as I get my locals via sat/OTA, but I see so many people that don't, left out in the cold.

I get mine through D* but they look alot better through my AM21 or directly on my TV (No Box)

Not only that but now I bet alot of people that were here looking for it gave up and will not see this till they log in again and realize that they could of seen part of it in HD anyways.

I see virtually no difference via sat, the HR20 OTA tuner or my Sony's tuner.

For some reason, my DirecTV (WNBC-NY) feed was very choppy, so I watched the OTA feed. If DNS feeds were eventually turned on, that's a good thing, but why so late?

I was watching in the Davenport IA market and right after Springsteen the picture went bad, choppy not at all watchable. I checked 393 and it was not on, then a few minutes later I thought about MPEG2 channels and 82 and was on, never went back and checked if 393 was turned on then or not.

That's exactly why they turn them on. They were keeping a very close eye on all of the NBC affiliates they carry, and as soon as one of them had any technical difficulties, they'd open up the national channel and put up a slide on the local saying to tune to the national channel. That's why it wasn't open at the beginning of the game, because there were no issues.
