To clarify that was the actual channel that was remapped to that number. This was done so that once the deal was done it was a very simple process to restore services. However since guide data still loaded your DVR recorded it as the DVR doesn't care ,what channel number changes happen, it just follows the rules setup.

During the Viacom dispute their channels were remapped to 8+their normal number as a placeholder for them. Because of this remapping your series links for those channels were changed to the 8+ number as well and continued to record. This was done so that once the channels came back on, today, your SL's would be unaffected.
