Here's a truly mind-blowing idea! Instead of displaying the directv logo on the bottom-left of the playback bar, swap it out for the channel logo. The directv logo can stay if there is no logo.

Has anyone found a way to force a refresh of channel logos? This question has come up a lot recently, and I pay attention to them only when someone asks a question.

someday in the future i hope all these channels take all their watermarks off of the viewing screen. so annoying.
channels like discovery has crap covering 10 percent of the screen at time.

I am in total agreement here, I think its a way to combat DVRs, I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too...

Worst is when the in-show ad is animated. It can be so attention grabbing that it totally takes you out of the program you are watching. I've turned off many shows just because of that. It's just too damn annoying. Do these folks realize how counter-productive their in-show ad can be?
