Can somebody advise on the cheapest HD DVR package? All the prices changed and they say the only option is HD DVR package which is 73 dollars. Can I select the cheapest available package and then add DVR and HD services? Can figure out looking at DIRECTV website because all their prices are for promotions. Thanks.

If you log into the website, the packages shouldn't be promotional prices...
And I don't see a reason why you couldn't select the 29.99 family package and add on HD and DVR service... Should be around 46 bucks or so...

Took me awhile to figure it out. How long has it been since Directv increased their Choice package from 42 to 52 dollars? That and choice extra selection add up to 72 dollars that HD DVR pack is sold for.
As to Family package its out of the question for anybody with HD tv.
