Probably a bad LMB, at least that is what it was when mine was doing it. You can call E* and they will send a tech out to change it for $29 if you have the DHPP, or you can buy one and replace it yourself, just make sure you get the right one.

EDIT: I am guessing you have DPP equipment? I only had this problem after I got a DPP LMB and almost right after I got it.

Mine kept doing this and all I had to do was change the cabeling at the dish. The cable that went from one LNB to the other had gone bad. I had thought that it was an LNB problem too, but I just tried the easy and inexpensive things first and got lucky.

This could be an LNB, cabling, separator, or receiver problem. Your best bet is to get a tech out there to figure out where the problem is. Your receiver should not be losing its switch configuration on a regular basis...

Call Dish Tech support and they will do some on line trouble shooting with you and assess whether or not you need a tech visit.

Eschew CSR's, they are untrained and run only off ascript - no help.
