Why am I getting Boston channel 38 instead of Chicago channel 38?

Ooops ... it looks like you subscribe to the Superstations and DISH has messed up the mapdowns.

WSBK from Boston is a Superstation off the satellite. Don't know what that means in your situation. They do have some Red Sox stuff.

According to the DISH website, Chicago's CH. 38 WCPX is not carried. It's an ION station which the national feed of ION is on 181/882 if you have AT200 or above.

WSBK 38 from Boston should be on 8775 according to the Dish website.

There's been a "glitch" in the Dish "Matrix" -

Right now, it appears that if you subscribe to the superstations, they're mapping down WSBK also to 38 (in addition to the 230's and the 8000's).

It'll probably be "fixed" early this week...

This was the case another time in the past.

All ION stations are not carried except those which may have switched to other networks (KPXJ).

Nix the Red Sox stuff. Gone for a couple of years. They may have some ACC stuff this season.
