I'm having trouble picking up local HD channels in Chicago.


I'm getting a 90% signal strength on the meter for 99(c) but I'm missing some of the transponders....

Does anyone know what transponder (and what satellite) the locals could be on and/or how many I should be picking up?

Well, I assume you realize both Chicago SD & HD locals are on a spot beam, so it might be the spot just doesn't reach you in Detroit.
Do you get the SD locals OK?
But I will say, the HD ones DO reach down here as well as the SD ones (amazingly)...
