I was watching a recording of Suits on USA and noticed really choppy/jerky movements in the video on the show only. Commercials don't seem to show the problem. Haven't noticed it on other stations or recordings. USA says it's a Dish problem(of course). Anyone else notice this type of poor video quality?
Thank you
Here's why. On May 2008, DISH also launched national HD networks up to 6 HD MPEG4 services per 8PSK transponder. But in Summer 2018 (which was 10 years to now), 8 were moved/added per transponder which that makes 14. It overcompresses the bandwidth while using 8PSK 2/3 FEC. 8PSK 3/4 or 5/6 FEC can increase the HD video quality.
That does not answer why commercials are good and the show is bad.
