really? A huge rivalry not on national tv.

I've been a PAC-8/10/12 fan for years and it's the first I've heard of it.alnielsen said:If it wasn't for the Art Mann show, I wouldn't have even heard of this rivalry. It must be only huge regionally.
Back in the day, the rivalries were often more important than the Rose Bowl in terms of bragging rights. It is also something that is going to happen every year regardless of their respective records.fluffybear said:I've been a PAC-8/10/12 fan for years and it's the first I've heard of it.
You must not be that into the Pac 8/10/12.fluffybear said:I've been a PAC-8/10/12 fan for years and it's the first I've heard of it.
It will actually be the 6th game on the PAC-12 network involving two teams currently ranked in the BCS top 25.sigma1914 said:Pac12 Network has it's own topic: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?p=3132970#post3132970
Isn't that the network's first ever game with both teams ranked? It's about time they had a decent game ...
I'm talking about at game time, both teams ranked. Is it really 6? Remember, some teams kept falling in and out like Arizona and Washington.chillyfl said:It will actually be the 6th game on the PAC-12 network involving two teams currently ranked in the BCS top 25.
After Alabama lost to Texas A&M, for Oregon and Kansas State to lose was the only way to get the SEC back into their rightful place in the BCS Championship game. Now if Notre Dame can find a way to lose to USC, we can have an all SEC BCS championship game again and order will be restored to the college football universe.JoeTheDragon said:now if Oregon would of been 1 if they did not lose that last game.
Yes, those numbers are very dependent on UW and Arizona being in the top 25. Arizona alone has been on the PAC-12 network 4 times against another team currently in the top 25: Oklahoma St., Oregon St., Washington, and UCLA.sigma1914 said:I'm talking about at game time, both teams ranked. Those went away?"GlennDio" said:the thing I always liked about the Pac 8/10 that isnt true anymore ... is that there used to be 4/5 natural rivalries:
USC/UCLA
Wash/Wash st
Oregon/Oregon st
Cal/Stanford
Arizona/Arizona St....
Every one of those is still true and played every year. Not sure why you think that has changed."GlennDio" said:the thing I always liked about the Pac 8/10 that isnt true anymore ... is that there used to be 4/5 natural rivalries:
