Just as easy as hooking an OTA to your current TV. You just hook it (UHF only needed) to the 622 instead.
I'm ignoring Cleveland in 17 states and assuming he is OH. VHF is needed as well as UHF. NBC uses channel 2 for 3.1 and CBS uses channel 10 for 19.1, or so sayeth www.antennaweb.org.William said:You just hook it (UHF only needed) to the 622 instead.
I did mean Cleveland, Ohio..sorry for any confusion..My old username had my location as Canton, Ohio..CABill said:I'm ignoring Cleveland in 17 states and assuming he is OH. VHF is needed as well as UHF. NBC uses channel 2 for 3.1 and CBS uses channel 10 for 19.1, or so sayeth www.antennaweb.org.
But I can't really tell what he is asking by "integrate a OTA antenna". Likely just what you already answered. I'd probably split the OTA antenna to feed the 622, the new HDTV (most come with ATSC tuners) and one other to be combined with the Home Dist output to send to the rest of the house. If "integrate" means bring the OTA signal into the house with the DISH lnb signal, that's easy with diplexers.
No clue when Cleveland will get Sat HD locals.
Can you direct me to more info on this particular offer? I haven't heard of it before. Thanks.Hall said:A couple of months ago Dish started an offer for low-cost, installed antennas for "certain" cities. Cleveland is one of those cities
