This is precisely my system. A new SWM8 and LNB, new HR34, new H25 in bedroom (wanted a C31 but it couldn't connect to my old tube TV), legacy HR20-100 (with about 400 hours of shows on the 2TB external array) in rec room.bakers12 said:The C31 can do trickplay (pause, rewind, fast forward) on live TV. The H25 can't unless you're recording the show.
You can have a H25 (I assume you didn't mean HR25 because there isn't one) connected to an HR34. You can also have HR2x DVRs connected.
The C31 should have worked fine with your old tube TV using the exact same component or composite adapter you are using to make the H25 work with it.Podkayne said:This is precisely my system. the h25 has composite outputs, with the client you have to have the composite 10 pin. Considering these are on back order and very few are in the field the tech prolly didn have one to use so he had to change it to a h25Beerstalker said:The C31 should have worked fine with your old tube TV using the exact same component or composite adapter you are using to make the H25 work with it.
ya i dont know what they were thinking there, but in a MPEG 4 market, i run into needing 3 10 pin connectors on one job sometimescwtech said:the h25 has composite outputs, with the client you have to have the composite 10 pin.
