cloack off 2 minutes

989 Views 11 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  Doug Brott
I have a HR20-700 and the directv time is 2 minutes early. So if a program is set to come on at 9:00 and I am programmed to record it, the first 2 minutes are lost. It starts recording at 9:02 (real-time) but Directv time is 9:00. Anyone else have this? I've set my programs to start recording 3 minutes early, but gets messy if I am recording things back to back & on different channels.

Come to think of it I have the same model and my time seemed off also.
People have reported this and from what I understand a soft reboot corrects the issue.

Yes, a reboot should fix the issue...at least temporarily. 2 minutes sounds pretty severe. My clock has never lagged by more than about 30 seconds.

It's cumulative. Wait long enough and it could get to 3 minutes. :)
Whats it like when your cloak is on? I would love to have cloaking ability!

Just joking with you :p

As others said above, a soft reboot should fix your issue. Do it through the setup menu though instead of doing a Red Button Reset (RBR).
I was talking about my cloak. When I take it off, it's like 2 minutes before I can be seen, it really sucks!

In 2311, with the signing of the Treaty of Algeron, the Federation explicitly agreed not to develop cloaking technology....but the evidently klingons/romulans didnt listen.

I had this problem just this week and a reset took care of it.
I have to reset mine about once a week because the lag time keeps building - a day after the reset it is usually 11 sec off and builds from there hence the once (and sometimes twice) a week reset.
Let's continue this discussion in the existing thread, please ..
