My CC is approximately a second late while watching Game of Thrones. I've tested other shows recorded from other channels and they seem to be on time.

I am using the CC built into the 722 (menu 8-6-1), not the one available to the TV.

Anyone here experiencing the same thing?

My 622 and 722 do the same thing, but it's not just one channel. Sometimes it's any channel, sometimes it's synchronized nicely.

I gave up on CC years ago. I suppose Dish will retire the VIP line before this gets fixed.

Nowadays I just cross my fingers and dutifully make the 13 or so key strokes on my remote.
