Ratings agency Nielsen show that CNN has just experienced its worst month for almost 20 years, losing 50 per cent of its audience in 12 months.

Well it's about time to close this thread!
But then you wouldn't be able to read comments like:

"XXX station is stuck, but then again it had its head stuck up its own behind for a decade anyway."

"Well at least it's not like XXX which seems to be stuck in 1936 Berlin"

wow...I didn't expect that kind of CNN bashing!!!. I find it to be the best dam news network on the planet.

FOX is so far to the right they couldn't balance a 3ft board. Not only that FOX viewers are some of the most uninformed viewers when it comes to any type of current event, weather it be politics or anything else for that matter.

MSNBC is so far to the left that you would think the Democrates are Demi-Gods!!!

CNN is just right. They don't take sides and there viewers are some of the most accurately informed viewers!!!

When I said CNN was stuck I meant that the video was stuck in a 1 second repeating loop for over 15 minutes. I think it has something to do with the approaching storm.

I disagree. I'm not bashing CNN but they do tend to lean more to the left rather than staying in the middle. I miss the days when Bernard Shaw was their leading reporter. They were more focused on just reporting the news back then. Today they report the news followed with commentaries and debates by their team of "analyst" and "experts".

That is what I thought when I saw the thread.

That can happen to almost any channel during a major thinderstorm for several minutes.

Had the title of your thread been "CNN video is stuck in a loop" it may have elicited a different reaction.

I don't know if this is your opinion or if you actually knew the facts when you posted it, but the statement is spot on.

The largest effect is that of Fox News: all else being equal, someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer just 1.04 domestic questions correctly - a figure which is significantly worse than if they had reported watching no media at all.

If I need news I go to CNN HD, sports I go to ESPN News HD, weather Weather Channel HD. All setup in Quicktune, along with the locals and RSN's. All 9 fit nicely.

LOL!!! Put down the crack pipe bro!!! First off, back to english 101 for you. Yikes. Second, "most accurately informed viewers"??? You didn't' really type that did you??

Know who watches CNN??? The little old granny down the street who voted for Nixon, Carter, Dukakis...well you get the point.

PS-CNN Is as "left" as they come. Saying they don't take "sides" is like saying California isn't in debt....please.

I get all my news off the net. Screw all of them but CNN, is awful IMO and easily the worst of the ones you listed....
