CNN seems to be on 101 transponder 27 so where is CNNHD coming from ? CNNHD went out but CNN sd on 101 was ok & D did not put up a reason as to why the HD went away

All National HD (MPEG-4) is off of 103c or 99c. CNNHD is coming in fine here in GA. If it's raining where you are, the HD signals will fade out before the SD fades out.

No rain CNNHD just went away , all other mpeg 4 chs were ok it was just CNNHD .

CNNHD is coming in just fine here in Minnesota.

Are there any messages on your screen, or is it just black?

Only thing that comes to mind is to try resetting your DVR and if you still have problems to call DirecTV.

Just CNNHD it just went black , so we stayed with the SD Pgm but now the HD feed is back .

My tuner has been set on CNNHD for the past few hours as I was watching a movie and I had no problems whatsoever. But glad it's working again for you.

is it possible, if hooked hdmi, this was just a handshake drop?

We had the very same problem yesterday. CNNHD was totally black while CNN SD came in clear. Resolved after awhile.
