I'm having the same issue here in Ohio. I even rebooted my HR21 to see if that was the issue. I've now switched to watch the local news in Houston on 361.

Same here in Alaska, popping and snapping on the audio, video going black for 30-60 secs.

Folks...They are doing alot of broadcasting from Houston where Hurricane Ike is about to make landfall. Don't you think that just might have something to do with it?

I also noticed that DirecTV is doing some drop-in commercials on CNN. Once their commercial ends it seems like a minute or so before it rejoins the network...leaving a total blank screen. I think that is what some of you might be noticing.
