I didn't watch today but yesterday afternoon I noticed the same problems you describe.

Did anyone have sound issues with this channel today? Starting about 9 am, the CNN HD channel starting having intermittent periods of very brief sound loss followed by a grating, popping noise. After about 30 minutes I lost the front channels on my home theatre system, use HR21 on this setup. This was also happening on my other HD TV which is hooked to the H20. Since this is a direct into the TV set up, I was only getting the brief sound drop and grating, pop. I could hear that the sound drops were happening at the same time on both systems. Also no other channel was having a problem and I had front speakers on all other channels I checked. I checked CNN Headline News, several movie channels in the 500's, Food Network, Discovery and LIL's.
The front channels came back after about 20 minutes, but I am still hearing, or not hearing :grin: , the sound drops.

Was that 3 hours this pm or am? I have not noticed any drops for the last several hours.

yes i jad that problem on cnn hd this morning,And i still have dropouts on my local WB channel 5 ktla continues since last year!
Same problem for 2 days with CNNHD. I get very short (0.1 second) bursts of full volume white noise. It sounds like a pop.
Have to say I am again getting the drop then white noise again today. I listened closely and it is a burst of white noise. What in the world could be going on with CNNHD to cause this?

A channel named BET (BLACK Entertainment Channel ) sounds racist to me. Where is the WET (White entertainment channel located ?)
Its very clear who CNN is rooting for in the election. All you have to do is watch the Cafferty file and its quite clear.

I don't really see the Obama bias. Heck Lou Dobbs bashes Obama all the time.
Maybe the sound is from the workers finally replacing all of the broken glass in the CNN Center from the tornado. ;-)
Its easy to see the bias ... Watch the Cafferty file one time - its very plain. Lou Dobbs pretends to be a moderate but he offers no solutions to the problems he complains about. He constantly goes off about the border and over seas jobs. But never addresses the issue as to why companies want to build a factory somewhere else... they do it because of high taxes , unions , etc... so why not address these issues head on. If the unions and taxes are causing this then what is the solution - but these things are the cornerstone of liberals so they do not explore how these problems can be fixed. They just blame the evil company. Why cant Nike build a show factory in Flint Michigan ? Funny timing for a piece like that since CNN has been around over 20 years and a few months before an election they decide that needs to be aired....
