Do you have to be a Gameplan subscriber to order these games? The wording on the "banners" of last weekend's PPV games seemed to indicate such.
You can buy the week for $21.95.

That's for GamePlan games (purchasing for one week), not ppv College Games that I'm talking about. These are different. These are 'one-off" games available in certain states to be purchased individually that week only. They are typically games of larger schools against smaller schools that are made available from the school to certain customers in parts of the country.

Isn't the Tulane vs. Alabama game offered on Gameplan also? It'll actually be on 2 channels, correct?

As an Alabama fan living in a state outside of AL and LA, it would be cheaper to buy the Gameplan for a week and watch it on the Gameplan channel.

Am I confused?

I think that you are correct. If you are outside of AL or LA, the Alabama/Tulane is available through ESPN Gameplan and you can't order the single game PPV. If you are in AL or LA, you can order ESPN Gameplan but this game is blacked out. Thus, you have to buy the single game PPV broadcast in those two states.

So are these games offered in both SD and HD or just SD? Anyone know?
