Is there a combiner/joiner available to join 3 OTA antenna leads? 3 in 1 out. I see the Antennas Direct EU385-CF UHF / VHF Antenna Combiner and a few similar models for 2. What I would like to have are 3 separate antennas pointed North,South, & East, bring all 3 leads inside then send out as 1 for house wide distribution. If DISH would just hurry up with the GREENVILLE NC locals in HD I could eliminate the northern pointed antenna

Thanks

Won't that cause a problem with overlapping signals? I tried that once & had a supposed "professional" install the 2nd unit. He installed something that combined the 2 feeds into 1, so that it could enter the house. Didn't last long.......his ladder fell tore down the gutter, & then the next wind, the antenna fell. So much for the "professional" install.

You can use a splitter backwards to combine. They are really the same thing as long as there isn't an attenuator in it.

The problem you will see is called ghosting. There are reflected signals all over the place. If you tie the directional antennas together, they will see reflections of some of the other channels. Those reflections will be milliseconds off of the main signal. That will cause "ghost" images to show up on your analog TV.

Digital is another story. I don't have anecdotal information to share. But theoretical says it'll work since the receiver should reject all the weaker signals.
