Only if a game ran late would the blackout still be in effect. I watch the pre and post game shows on many RSNs, also their daily highlight shows.
If I get the pre and post game shows I'll be happy. I guess I'll find out tomorrow night.jefbal99 said:Only if a game ran late would the blackout still be in effect. I watch the pre and post game shows on many RSNs, also their daily highlight shows.
I've never seen the CSN highlight show blacked out. I watch them in the morning to supplement the ESPN highlightsgrape said:If I get the pre and post game shows I'll be happy. I guess I'll find out tomorrow night.
Still would be nice to get sports nite to watch more coverage of the Wiz, Caps, Nats and O's.
Okay, that's what I was seeing. That's good to hear. Having those shows makes me feel like I'm back in DC. I was really looking forward to sportsnite.CoachGibbs said:Redskins nation is always blacked out and will continue to be. This week they've messed up and blacked out the Sportsnite following it. Hopefully they get it together soon and fix it.
Why is it "always blacked out and will continue to be"?CoachGibbs said:Redskins nation is always blacked out and will continue to be. This week they've messed up and blacked out the Sportsnite following it. Hopefully they get it together soon and fix it.
I believe at the time the show was called "Redskins Radio"...but it's now called "Redskins Nation".Thank you for taking the time to write Comcast SportsNet.
Due to NFL regulations, the network is required to black out Redskins
Radio outside of our footprint, which includes Maryland, Washington,
D.C., Virginia and parts of Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
That show is subject to blackout regulations because it contains game
footage.
The network is able to distribute Redskins Post Game Live to the entire
Comcast SportsNet viewing area and you should be able to view that
program after every Redskins game this season.
Please continue to send us your comments. And thank you for watching
Comcast SportsNet.
Games will only be available in the market the RSN serves.grape said:I just added the sports package mainly so I can watch this channel. I thought blackouts only applied to games, but I'm getting ******* Nation and Sportsnite blacked out too. I do get to watch the Washington Post Live show.
Anyway, are these supposed to be blacked out. Is there something wrong with my setup. And will the Skins pre and post game shows also be blacked out?
PS: I'm out of market obviously.
PSS: Sorry if this has been asked before.
I believe the reason is that Comcast would have to pay more for national rights.1980ws said:Why is it "always blacked out and will continue to be"?
