I'm totally at a loss with DTV and our local installer Ironwood Communications. After having missed my last three installs, for various lame reasons, I was told after my last missed install that another installation date could/would not be given until more HR20s are produced. Whatever, I thought. I don't even really want the damn thing anyway at this point. Bugs galore, no OTA or dual buffers, No FOX in Sacramento, crazy spinny lights on the front, etc... So anyway, I fired off another e-mail voicing my displeasure just for the heck of it. I tried to be as unbiased and to the point as I could remembering to focus on the 12 hours of my life that had passed waiting for some guy to drive up in a van with a dish, switch and HR20... Then a miracle happened...not only did I receive multiple psuedo personal e-mails back from DTV, but I received three phone calls from Ironwood asking to reschedule me for THAT DAY! What in the world??? How can that be? No HR20s, but we'll be right there? What happened to the last HR20 that mysteriously was available for install one day and then gone the next. I don't what to think about it anymore and am fed up with this BS. The only thing that makes me blow this whole thing off is the absurd amount of credits that have been posted to my account. :lol:

I think D* is really taking a lot of heat right now and the retention department is giving out a lot of credits, I mean a LOT.

Yeah, a lot. Let's say enough to buy a few sports packages...ridiculous. Supposedly they are coming on the 4th, but we'll see...I'm a little gun shy at this point.
