Connecting HR20 & H20 to TV

I'm guessing that I will need a powered splitter to split the dish signals between the two dvrs but what kind? Do I need anything else?

The H20 is not a recorder, but you can certainly connect your H20 and HR20 to the same TV using your HDMI switcher. As far as the satellite feed goes, you need an independent cable run back to your dish/multiswitch. You cannot use a "powered splitter" or any kind of splitter for that matter. Tell us more about the type of dish you have. If it's a recent 3-LNB or 5-LNB dish, it has four outputs so you might just need to run another cable from the dish to your H20. If all four outputs are used, then you need a multiswitch, like the Zinwell WB68, to expand those four outputs to eight outputs.
