I use a Netgear Homeplug adapter hooked to my router. A Homeplug is already built into the receiver, so you only need one. You could connect the receiver using a wireless bridge, too. The Homeplug was super-easy though. I had is set up and had the receiver communicating over the Internet within 5 minutes
