I am considering the switch from the Dish 921 to the VIP 622. I'd like some feedback on whether or not now would be a good time to switch. It seems like many of the bugs have been worked out. Also, what are your opinions on the lease or buy issue? I've been lurking for awhilem... this is my first post.

I moved from the 921 to the 622 and have no regrets. The issues the 921 had were large compared to those that the 622 has had IMO. I will never buy again like I did with the 921. I bought it and only had it for about a year and I paid $1,000 so I was paying a little less than $100.00 a month for the 921. The technology changes way too much these days to even consider buying the 622 unless you want more than one. I think you have to buy the second if you want two 622's.

Woohoo... now all I need is a Blu-Ray player or Playstation 3 and my system is ROCKIN!

PS. Nice folks on this forum.

I'm personaly using an HD DVD player and not Blu-Ray but "to each his own". I am waiting for next year when there may be a player that does both HD DVD and Blu-Ray.
