I had 3 HR21's replaced today with the HR44/500 a genie mini and a geniewireless.

In the guides and menu's I have a really hard time seeing the selected box. It is two very subtle grays. All three genies have the same contrast problem on 3 different LED TV's .

So far I can't find any way to change the contrast of the selected menu/guide-box colors. Can it be done?

The highlighted box should be blue, if is not do a red button reset.

Yeah something is off, they have the exact same color schemes and display properties as the hr21s did. I'd double check all your settings and do a reset and see if that helps. If not let us know...
