No... in fact, I have Shark as one of my SLs. I've never had a problem with it - the SLs I have for shows on CBS work correctly (no repeats, e.g.). I know this sounds stupid, but you may want to do a Search on the show, and try recording it from there.
Copy Protection
I tried recording Shark on CBS last night and it wouldn't work. In guide view I highlighted the program and hit record and the pressed the list button. Instead of the show title I had a dollar sign with a circle around it and it said this program is copy protected and cannot be recorded.
I tried several more times but it wouldn't record and the message never came back. Has anyone else seen this??

Try resetting the system and then watching it. I remember someone else had the same problem and it was fixed after a reset.
