"Curiosity" on Discovery Channel

Just an FYI for those of you who recorded "Curiosity" last season and are wondering when it comes back.

It's back, has been for 2 weeks now, but the shows aren't showing under the name "Curiosity" so your series links, or timers, won't pick them up. Each episode now has its own show title. The last 2 have been "Plane Crash" and "The Devil's Triangle".

This pretty much sucks...

I caught both by luck, because I looked for science specials in the guide while I lay in bed late at night. My bedroom DVR so happen to be where I schedule these show-types for recording.

Yeah, but then the week after has Mythbusters listed for 9 so even a recurring manual record of Sundays at 9pm won't work.

Yeah, it's a stupid way of doing it. I haven't been recording it, except for Plane Crash, but there is no reason for them to do it this way.

I saw that. It looked to be a Mythbuster marathon.

Though it could be, I would keep an eye on it. I've had things show up in the guide as a marathon for the same time that Discovery was advertising a premiere, until a few days before the actual date.

It looks like Discovery has finally figured out that each episode having its own show title is not working out well. I just noticed that the 11/19 show title is "Curiosity" with an episode title of "Hindenberg". My Series Link for "Curiosity" picked it up because of this. Here's to hoping they are like this from here on.

TG, Wednesday night is the night I check for Sunday and I couldn't remember what I was supposed to be looking for last night.
