D* Ad volume levels

I'm sick of it. To me, the D* inserted ads touting the greatness of D* seem to be playing at even louder volume levels. It's to the point that I can hardly hear the actual program after turning down the volume on the D* commercial.

Please, DirecTV - Turn down the volume on your commercials.

If you use component (BGR) cables I can suggest the Audiovox model VR-1 I've used it for years and it does the job. I am unable to use hdmi(Directv) with my Sony KDL46v5100 because of problems with the picture and sound dropping out, So I have to use component cables. ( To be honest with using component cables instead of HDMI, its hard to tell the difference when watching normal HD television.)

They might as well do it now, the deadline is in December. They don't have to wait that long. Personally, I haven't noticed it, but I have only watched the miniature giraffe, ditch and dog collar type commercials.
Actually it seems to me that most of the DirecTV ad inserts lately have been QUIETER than the channel's average audio level.
I find that watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on Comedy Central are MUCH lower than the ads that air during those shows.
I've noticed that various channels still have much higher (or lower) audio levels than other channels. And, of course, those DirecTV inserts either blast you or can hardly be heard depending on what channel you are watching.

In addition, I've also observed that the fantastic, superb, flawless software DirecTV installed to correct this makes adjustments about three times a week so you have to be careful on Thursday, Sunday, and Tuesday if you value your speakers...

The opening music of NCIS: Los Angeles will give your speakers a work out.
