I get an email from D* yet again telling me about their website. I know about their website, but some questions can't be answered there. But the funny thing with this email which was dated 9/9/08 was it had a coupon offer for a free movie. However, the offer on the coupon had expired 8/31/08 :lol: D*'s heart is in the right place, but I sometimes don't know where D*'s mind is !rolling

I'm sure you can still use the coupon. From what I've heard in the forum, they typically still honor older coupons (within a reasonable amount of time).

If you don't want to chance it, call a CSR and read the email to them verbatim.

Or forward the email to them asking why the coupon expired before you got it.

I think you misread the email.

I have one and it says if you register you account online by Aug 31 you get a free PPV.

I am already registered so I guess I am entitled to a free PPV - I will have to call and ask.

I don't think we are talking about the same email. But I sent an email back to D* so may be I'll hear from them again. If not, it doesn't matter I so rarely watch a PPV anyway.

Gotta love getting an expired coupon. Sort of like getting a Christmas card in February.

Call D* and tell them you just got it and it was expired. I would think they may honor it.
