D10-100: 0x1040 Discussion / Issues

Just downloaded 0x1040 on my two D11-300s. Nice to have the Mini Guide, and the caller ID now shows name AND phone number.

No luck with my D10-100, but my D11-300 took a forced upgrade without any problem. I think this release is also required for GamesLounge

I was able to force one of my D10s. The other had originally had 102A. It went backward and I was able to get it to 1027. Last night I forced it and now it is back to 102A.

The mini-guide is very nice. The "null" CallerID problem is still there (It never was a problem on my R15).

I forced mine last night, during the "Elvis" window for the HR20, and it went to 10B or 108? I lost most channels. I woke up this morning and it was at 1027, I did a forced update, and it downloaded 102A. I'm curious.

This update showed up on my D10 on 1/22.

How do you "force" it? Thanks, Howie BTW I have a D11

Will this work on the 10-300's? Where you do find the search feature?

Press then RED Reset Button on your receiver.
As soon as It comes back, on the first a blue Screen.
Use your remote to type in "02468".
It will reset on its own.
It will display "New Software Found" and a status bar.
Upper left corner will be numbers that change.
It is searching for the lastest update.
If there is a new one, the status bar will progress and the upper right numbers should start to change.

If there is no more updates at that time for the D10,D11,R15,H20, or HR20, the screen will say something to effect of No more updates are available for this receiver.
The system will reboot, then boot up as if you unplugged it.
