Is there any significance to the Red DC Power Pass Output on the 4 & 8 way splitters? In other words is that where the CCK should be connected or should you keep a receiver away from that port or anything?
The red power passing port allows DC voltage to pass between the red output and the input to the splitter. If you are using a power inserter, you need it to go on that port but other than that there is no difference.
